Bird of Dawn: A Century of Song & Struggle in Iran is a multilingual folk musical that tells the story of Iranian resistance through over a century of protest songs. Weaving together history, music, and storytelling, it explores freedom, resilience, and the enduring human desire for liberation. ​

​One of eight performers who co-created this powerful and well received English dialogue play with songs in Iranian, Chilean Spanish, and Kurdish. The show first opened at Highway Performance Spaces in mid June 2026 and there is ongoing interest from theatrical and non profit organizations to bring the play to new audiences in the US.
